There are a couple
of things that
we feel you should know, to
make your day more enjoyable.
The first is how you should dress. The dress code for the club is casual.
While Golf Carts will be provided
to get you from station to station, the roads are a combination of gravel and
hard dirt, so you should
wear a rubber soled comfortable shoe. T-shirts and shorts are not allowed.
The weather is usually unpredictable and sometimes the mornings are chilly
and the afternoons warm.
We would suggest that you dress with layers of clothing that can be easily
removed or added as needed.
We will shoot rain or shine so please bring a poncho or hood.
SFC will provide you with a pair of shooting glasses and earplugs. You are
welcome to bring your own shotgun
but it must be a break type of gun, pump and semi-automatics are not permitted.
Shotguns will be provided,
as well as all the ammunition you will need to participate in the event.
The event will begin with everyone gathering at the lodge between 8:30 and
9:30 am. for breakfast.
It will be followed by lessons for those of you who need them and practice
for those experienced shooters.
After lunch all participants will break out into their respective squads and
they will shoot 100 rounds,
which will be scored. At the completion of the shoot we will reassemble in
the lodge for
deserts, cordials, cigars, raffles live auction and awards.
